The purpose of this blog is to inspire and encourage all believers and
members of the family of God. We live in difficult times and through Word
and Song, Message and Music, I wish to inspire and encourage the people
of God utilizing my background as a PK (preachers Kid) and 25 years as a
Pastor of a Christian church.
This blog is entitled, “Never Alone”. In the NIV version of the Bible,
Hebrews 13:3 says:
“Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you
have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you, Never will I forsake
you.”
God’s Word does not say that we should not have money, but what it says
is that greed or the love of money that causes us to become corrupted by
money or to put profit over people and causes us to forget that God is the
one who provides us with knowledge and strength and wisdom to gain and
deal with money. And if we become rich then we must handle or utilize our
money to bless our family and others.
With that in mind God says and it’s in quotes so that you know its God
Himself speaking, “Never will I leave you, Never will I forsake you.” You will
never be alone.
To Illustrate this point, I want to remind some and present to others the
Poem, ”Footprints”, which is our message to you for this week along with
the late great Andrae Crouch’s song, “The Promise.”
